Dr. Akbar is also a board member for the Field Neurosciences Institute, a founding member of the Association of Pakistani Physicians of North America and a member of General Colin Powell’s initiative, Saginaw County’s Promise.
Dr. James Bicknell

Dr. James Bicknell is President of Midland Emergency Room Corporation and CEO of MidMichigans Physician Group. Jim was Vice president for Medical Affairs for MidMichigan Health until named Chief Executive Officer in 2010. Bicknell is involved with MidMichigan Community College fundraising where he started an endowed scholarship in his family’s name and United Way Physicians in Midland.
Michael D. Bierlein

Mr. Bierlein is the owner and president of Bierlein Companies, one of the world’s leading demolition companies. Bierlein Companies, located in Midland, Mich., employs hundreds of people and is known for providing high-quality demolition services. In addition to many other business ventures, Mr. Bierlein is also the owner of Apple Mountain in Freeland, Mich., which operates a championship golf course, a gourmet dining restaurant and a banquet facility.
Gregory D. Brogan

Mr. Brogan is the Managing Partner of Brogan, Reed, Van Gorder & Associates, a 3rd generation family East Lansing Insurance and Investment firm founded in 1934 specializing in employee benefits, business and estate planning. He has been a part of the firm for 26 years and the managing partner for 21 years. Mr. Brogan is also Chairman of Sparrow Health System Board and East Lansing Rotary Foundation Board.
Mitzi M. Dimitroff

Mitzi Dimitroff is the owner of RDS Management and manages the Boathouse Condominium Project in Bay City. She is the immediate past Chairman of the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, and she also serves on the board of the Bay Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Flegenheimer is the President and CEO of Michigan Sugar. Prior to joining Michigan Sugar, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Amerop Sugar Corporation, a commodities trading company based in New York.
Richard J. Garber
President, Garber Buick, Inc.
Mr. Garber is the owner and operator of Garber Buick, Inc. and multiple other automotive dealerships in Saginaw, Florida and Illinois. He is also the governor and owner of the Saginaw Spirit Hockey Club.
Mrs. Goslin is a former Assistant District Manager for Merrill Lynch. She is currently raising her two sons while actively participating in Towne Centre Development Company, a commercial real estate development and management company of which she is a partial owner.
Daniel L. Kozakiewicz

Mr. Kozakiewicz is a new Midland-based member of the Tri-Star Board. He is President of Three Rivers Corporation, a Midland-based general contractor. Associated with the company since 1986, he has also managed the architectural and mechanical divisions of the company. He is also Chairman of Three Rivers’ Board of Directors.

Joe is deeply involved in the Lansing community, serving in leadership positions on boards and task forces with Michigan State University, Volunteers of America Homeless Shelter, Lansing Economic Area Partnership and the Mayor’s appointee to the Michigan Avenue Corridor Authority.

He has served in both of these capacities for over 15 years. As Vice President of SSP, Shaheen works closely on the many development projects that SSP owns and develops in the Great Lakes Bay Region.
J. Donald (Don) Sheets

Mr. Sheets is the Vice President and the CFO of Dow Corning Corporation. In 2009, he assumed the role of North America Regional President. Don serves as a director of the Midland Center for the Arts; a trustee of Albion College; Director of Wolverine Bank and board member of the Great Lakes Bay Arts and Entertainment Council.
Mr. Weldy, a former principal with the law firm of Braun Kendrick and Finkbeiner, PLC, was known as one of the area's leading business planning and venture capital attorneys before his early retirement. A philanthropist at heart, Mr. Weldy now devotes his time to serving leadership roles on the boards of Covenant Hospital of Saginaw and the Saginaw Community Foundation. He also operates Welco, Inc., his own real estate management business.
