The State of the State of Healthcare is McLaren Greater Lansing Foundation’s annual networking luncheon sponsored by the Business Partners in Health Committee.
The event is dedicated to educating business and medical professionals about current health care industry trends, what to expect in the future, how to prepare for change, the critical importance of a healthy workforce, and more.

Brew at the Zoo

Tri-Star will continue sponsoring the annual Brew at the Zoo event, taking place at the Saginaw Children’s Zoo on June 21. Guests will enjoy craft beer and wine tastings, delicious food from local restaurants, animal encounters, live music, and free carousel and train rides. This year designated driver tickets are being sold for adults who do not wish to drink alcohol but still want a chance to enjoy food and other activities. All proceeds to benefit new accessible Train cars so that EVERYONE can have fun at the Zoo!

Every Friday, Memorial Day to Labor Day (May 25 – August 31), Main Street comes alive from 6-9pm with live music and street performers. Discover talented musicians from around the state as well as some local favorites. Face painting, balloon twisting and magicians, oh my! The lineup changes weekly, so be sure to check the website for what fun awaits along Main Street. Saginaw City Lawn Chair Film Festival

June 10 marks the opening night for the 16th Annual Old Saginaw City Lawn Chair Film Festival. The film festival runs from June 17 until August 5. This year the line-up includes a fantastic menu of classic, blockbusters and Oscar-winning films. Local businesses and individuals living in and around Old Saginaw City sponsor all of the movies. This year there will be live musical entertainment before each movie. Admission is free and the movies begin at dusk on Sundays in the parking lot on the corner of Ames and Hamilton in Old City Saginaw.
