Lisa demonstrates professionalism and integrity day in and day out and has excellent organizational skills. She actively listen to the concerns of others. She’ll ask questions, and with discretion share those concerns and develop positive solutions. Lisa brings 20+ years’ experience in administration and 7+ years’ experience in human resources. She acquired her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on accounting from Saginaw Valley State University. She has spent time volunteering with Toys for Tots, Child & Family Services of Saginaw, Rescue Ministries, and Bridge the Gap.

What do you love about working at Tri-Star?

I love the team we have at Tri-Star. Everyone has a caring, servant heart. Whether it’s supporting and encouraging a fellow co-worker or going the extra mile for a client, I regularly see acts of service that just come naturally to our staff. 

What’s the best piece of professional advice you’ve ever received? 

When I was told that it’s ok to make mistakes and take risks but be mindful of the lessons of failure – every mistake has a lesson to offer.

What’s your favorite quote?

Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you’ll look back and realize they were the big things.

What are your top three bucket list items?

Travel to Europe.  I had to cancel a planned ‘trip of a lifetime’ to England and Scotland due to COVID. I’m a pretty simple person so I wouldn’t say I have a great bucket list. I just cherish making memories and sharing experiences with my family, so however that happens, it would complete my bucket list.
